Elinor Kadera, MA, LCMHC, NCC

Elinor is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and has been a Nationally Certified Counselor since 2019. She has a passion for working with complex family dynamics, trauma, codependency, emerging adulthood, relationship issues, anxiety, and shame. Elinor’s background includes working in a college counseling center, working for Evoke as a therapist, running therapeutic intensives for adults and families, providing coaching, and private practice. She is a relational and attachment-focused therapist who integrates somatic practices and mindfulness-based interventions into her approach. Elinor is a certified NARM therapist (NeuroAffectiveRelational Model) and is currently undergoing the institute’s highest level of training while also serving as a teaching assistant for other therapists. She has extensive experience supporting individuals, families, guiding parents, and working with young adults.

Elinor takes a warm, curious approach to therapy, deeply valuing the complexity of the human experience. She recognizes that the survival strategies developed in childhood to gain acceptance and navigate challenges can later become obstacles to realizing our true desires as adults. In her sessions, Elinor creates a compassionate space for exploring these internal patterns and the painful dilemmas of being human. Her depth-oriented work focuses on empowering her clients to align with their authentic selves, helping them move toward a more genuine and fulfilling life. With a personalized, direct, and supportive approach, Elinor fosters deep connections and provides a safe environment where clients can face discomfort, paving the way for transformative healing and growth.

Elinor lives in Southern Utah with her husband and their two dogs. She loves spending time outside in nature, particularly if it involves sunrise, stars, or two wheels. Elinor enjoys quiet mornings drinking coffee, cooking with loved ones, walking her dogs, finding any and all opportunities to be competitive, and fuels many of her days with her lifelong passion for homemade sourdough.
