Brad's therapeutic philosophy is deeply rooted in the transformative concept of the Hero's Journey, as highlighted by Joseph Campbell. This framework not only illustrates epic narratives but also mirrors the profound psychological transformations that individuals experience. In Brad's practice, therapy is seen as a sacred space. Therapy serves as a container where clients' stories, pains, and hopes are held and honored, facilitating deep healing through being truly heard and understood.
Each client's journey in therapy involves confronting fears, examining old wounds, and ultimately embracing profound changes. Brad emphasizes that these changes go beyond mere behavioral adjustments, representing a fundamental transformation of consciousness. This process is often so significant that it resembles the mythological motifs of death and rebirth, symbolizing a complete renewal of the self.
Brad's approach embraces the understanding that the journey itself is the most crucial aspect of therapy. He believes that while specific answers or outcomes may initially motivate the therapeutic quest, the journey often reveals much deeper insights and growth. Through his practice, Brad helps clients uncover their true selves, develop a deeper compassion for others, and understand their place in the world, returning from their personal odysseys with new stories of healing and transformation.

In his personal life, Brad likes spending time with family and friends traveling, taking in the beauty of Utah, discussing art and philosophy, and hiking. He loves live music and theatre and learning to play the guitar. His is an avid sports fan and loves to attend games at stadiums and arenas when he travels.
