Emma Reedy June, Ph.D. Candidate

Working in this field for 10 years, Emma’s background includes working at a residential treatment center for adolescent girls, running therapeutic intensive retreats for adults and families, training therapists to facilitate group work, and private practice. Areas of interest and expertise include; trauma, panic and anxiety disorders, codependency, dating and relationship conflicts, parenting dilemmas, body image issues, and borderline personality disorder. Emma studied Psychology, Family Studies, and Human Development at the University of Utah. She grew up in the treatment world and fell in love with the depth and connection in the field. Emma decided to pursue a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology and is currently in a Ph.D. program at Pacifica Graduate Institute (ABD). She worked for Evoke’s Intensives for 9 years and now is a co-founding partner of Finding You Therapy Programs.

Emma believes that the key to healing happens in the presence of someone who is non-judgmental and curious. She has a passion for finding and reflecting back the truths of the people she works with so that they may be able to identify and distinguish between their intuition and their trauma. Aside from this work I have a great love for animals, art, being physically active, appreciating good film and tv, and finding any local markets, restaurants, or events to feel connected to community.

When she’s not working, Emma enjoys spending time outdoors and with animals, namely her dog, Juice. She also enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, and hiking.
