Noel is a compassionate and experienced Clinical Mental Health Counselor, dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and groups through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, and interpersonal conflict. With years of experience, Noel is passionate about guiding people through self-exploration, healing, and personal growth in both one-on-one and group settings.Noel has over a decade of experience working with parents, families, and teens struggling with anxiety and depression, underlying trauma and attachment difficulties, and codependency in relationships. Noel loves assisting people in their healing and growth and is drawn towards working with teens, young adults, and families in one-on-one and group settings.
Noel is a highly skilled and empathetic Clinical Mental Health Counselor with more than 13 years of experience. His background includes working with adolescents and families in wilderness therapy, therapeutic boarding schools, residential treatment settings, and private practice. Noel has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. He has completed specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, 7 Challenges, Positive Psychology, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
With a curious, engaging, and non-judgmental style, Noel emphasizes Mindfulness and Attachment Theory in his practice. He is committed to helping clients navigate their journey toward wholeness, relationship healing, personal insight, integration, and reaching their full potential. Born and raised at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains, Noel enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle. He enjoys playing basketball, soccer, cycling, hiking, paddleboarding, and snowshoeing. He actively advocates for pedestrian and bicycling safety in his community. He also enjoys tackling yard projects that enhance beauty and promote water conservation. Noel and his wife love to travel and spend time with their Miniature Schnauzer, Pancho.
