Steve Kirk, B.A.
With over 18 years of experience in the treatment field, Steve has guided parents, families, and individuals through life’s challenges, often during times of crisis. On his own journey, including the struggles of adolescence, the joys and challenges of raising three children, and his family of origin’s experiences with addiction, codependency, trauma, and loss, Steve has acquired a well-rounded perspective, shaping his understanding of the complexities of the parent-child dynamic. Prior to working in the treatment field, Steve earned his degree in Communications and Business and worked for 15 years in the corporate world, in various operations and customer facing roles. Nothing has been more rewarding, however, than being a small part of someone's healing journey.
Steve believes in the innate wisdom within each of us to discover our true selves, leading to deeper connection and authenticity with those we love. As a curious and compassionate individual, he creates a safe space for others to share their experiences, dilemmas, and needs as they seek a healing path forward.
Steve specializes in supporting parents in crisis—whether they’re considering treatment for their child or navigating challenges with a child in treatment. His areas of expertise also include grief and loss, medical trauma, parenting dilemmas, relationship conflicts, and codependency.
Steve cherishes spending time with his family, traveling, listening to live music, learning new board games, trivia, and enjoying good food. He is passionate about any sport with a ball, especially golf, tennis, basketball, and soccer.
